Pets Best — Appeal a Denied Claim

Pets Best requires written appeal letters mailed to its Boise claims office within 60 days of the denial. The appeal must set forth why the policyholder believes the denial was incorrect, with any supporting written comments, documents, or other relevant information. A Second-Level external review by an impartial veterinarian (selected by Pets Best, independent of the carrier) is available — the request must be made in writing within 30 days of the first-level decision; the second-level reviewer issues a determination within 60 days.
