The headline: your pet's information stays in your browser

The Appeal Letter Generator on this site runs entirely in your browser. We do not receive, store, log, or transmit your pet's name, diagnosis, vet records, the policy section the carrier cited, your claim number, or your name and address. The PDF output is built client-side and downloaded directly from your browser.

Read the technical contract in our methodology page.

What we do collect

  • Aggregate analytics via Google Analytics 4 — only when you accept our cookie banner. We log: which pages you view, which carrier and denial-reason categories you click through, and which CTAs convert. We do NOT log the inputs you type into the appeal-letter generator.
  • Affiliate-link click events — when you click through to one of our affiliate partners, we log the surface and (optionally) the carrier slug for funnel attribution. The affiliate network on the other side (Impact, Awin) tracks the post-click activity per their own privacy policy.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider logs the standard request line (URL, timestamp, IP, user agent) for security and rate-limiting. These logs are rotated and not used for analytics.

What we do NOT collect

  • Your pet's name
  • Diagnosis or condition details
  • Vet record filenames or contents
  • The specific policy section the carrier cited
  • Your name, address, claim number, or policy number
  • Email addresses (we have no email signup, no newsletter)

Cookies

Google Analytics is configured with Consent Mode v2: by default, consent is denied. We do not collect analytics until you accept via the cookie banner. You can opt out at any time by clicking “Decline” on the cookie banner — your decision is stored in localStorage only.

Your rights

Because we do not store any personally identifying information you submit through the site, there is generally nothing for us to delete on your behalf. If you have a question about a specific cookie or analytics data, contact [email protected].

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new effective date will appear at the top of this page. We will not retroactively apply a less- protective standard.
